The process of creating the adorable Ecokins stuffed animals from water bottles begins with the bottles being shredded, cleaned, sanitized, and then melted. The resulting fibers are then spun into an ultra-soft fabric yarn. This repurposed material is used to make the fabric, fiber fill, and sewing thread for the stuffed animals. It's truly astonishing how soft and cuddly these toys are, considering they started as water bottles.

The embroidered eyes and nose of the Ecokins stuffed animals are made from the recycled thread, ensuring they are baby-safe. Additionally, the company uses recycled paper hangtags printed with soy ink and cotton string instead of plastic cord. For instance, the Ecokins 8" Sloth is made from 7 recycled water bottles. Ecokins is currently the only plush toy brand that is made entirely from 100% post-consumer material.
